Remove Stains On Clothes From Bird Droppings

Remove Stains on Clothes from Bird Droppings

If you have a bird as a pet or live in the country where many birds nest, you may have to remove bird droppings from clothing or fabric from time to time. Such stains can be difficult to remove because birds often consume berries, so the droppings can color materials. Fortunately, you should be able to return your clothes to normal by using some household ingredients.

Instructions

1. Clean off any droppings remaining on your clothing with a knife or spoon. Ensure that you don't spread the stain..

2. Flush the stain out in cold water. Scrub at it a bit with a cloth while you are doing so. This should get most of the stain out.

3. Rub the stain using a liquid laundry detergent that has enzymes. Launder the item using a bleach that is appropriate.

4. Treat the material with a few drops of hydrogen peroxide if you can still see the stain. Launder it again in a washing machine.
