Use A Scotch Brite Pad On Your Feet

Scouring pads and other abrasives keep your feet soft and smooth.

Taking care of your feet involves keeping them clean, exfoliated and free of fungus. Using abrasive items such as pumice stones, bladed pedicure tools and scouring pads allows you the ability to keep the skin on your feet fresh and smooth. Using a scouring pad, such as a Scotch Brite or any other brand, is a therapeutic and beneficial task that will leave your feet feeling pampered and well maintained.

Instructions

1. Wet the washcloth under a running hot faucet.

2. Scrub your feet down with the wet cloth to remove any debris from your skin.

3. Rub the scouring pad in circular motions, firmly, against the surface of your skin. Do this on the soles of your feet. If your feet are already wet, you don't need to moisten the pad; however, moistening it and adding your favorite exfoliating scrub gives it a powerful boost in scrubbing the soles of your feet.

4. Rub the scouring pad around the bottoms of your heels, and up on your ankles if you have dry skin there.

5. Mix the peppermint oil into the bottle of coconut oil and shake it vigorously. Apply a dime-sized amount of the oil to your hand and use that small amount to rub down both of your feet quickly.

6. Scrub the soles, heels and ankles of your feet a second time. The rough texture of the material exfoliates the top layer of skin, which wears down calluses and softens your feet.

7. Scrub your feet clean with the wet washcloth. This removes any loose skin particles that flake away during the use of the scouring pad. Rub your feet a second time with the peppermint infused coconut oil. This provides your feet with a soothing sensation after the scouring.
