Record A Voice Card

Your loved one will cherish a card that plays your voice.

Purchasing a card that contains the exact wording that you are trying to convey is not always possible. To remedy this challenge, companies are selling voice recorded greeting cards giving customers the opportunity to record their own short message in a card voice recorder. Personalizing a greeting card for a loved one for any occasion is the perfect gift. Voice cards contain integrated circuit (IC) chips that are used as small recorders within a card. Play and record buttons are available for convenience and direction, making the task effortless.

Instructions

1. Buy a recordable greeting card (see the Resource section).

2. Hallmark unveiled their recordable greeting cards in 2008 on Mother's Day.

Hold down the record button and recite a short message (normally 10 to 12 seconds, depending on the card) that you want the recipient to hear.

3. Recordable greeting cards were also created to support deployed United States troops.

Release the button when you are done.

4. Hallmark recordable greeting card batteries can play up to 220 times.

Press play to review the message that you recorded. If you are not satisfied with your message, close the card, open it and repeat the steps to record a new greeting.

5. Tear out the paper insert to lock in your message so that it cannot be recorded over, if you are satisfied with how it sounds. Do this before you close the card or your greeting may be erased.
