The dark red lipstick look is always in, but if you want to go this route, do not apply lots of eye make up, it'll just make you look like a lady of the evening or a transvestite. Just take regular eye liner, line it on the crease of your eyes and smudge it around your eyes. This is quick and fabulous.

This may give you many ideas of mix and match your clothing. It's OK to be daring, just be confident.
