Use A Virtual Dj As A Karaoke Player

Play karaoke files with Virtual DJ.

Virtual DJ is music production software for DJs and fellow musicians alike. The Virtual DJ interface supports different formats of audio such as MP3, AIFF and CDG (karaoke files). When playing karaoke files in Virtual DJ you must import the audio files into the program before playing. Along with the import function, you also have the choice of editing karaoke files within the software. CDG files, unlike MP3 and WAV files, enable you to follow along and sing with the audio once synced with karaoke graphic files.

Instructions

1. Open the software and click the "Files" window, which is located on the bottom left.

2. Select "My Computer" from the drop-down menu and then select the "+" button to extend the list. Locate the folder where the karaoke files are listed.

3. Drag and drop the files in the "Browser" window to the right. The software will automatically find album covers for each of the songs.

4. Double-click the song in the "Browser" window to select the file. Right-click the song and then select "Play Song" to preview the song.
