Part of the fun of spirit day is dressing up in your team's colors. A great way to dress for spirit day is by making a Glitter Glue T-shirt. Sports Balls
Drawing a sports ball onto your shirt with Glitter Glue is an ideal way to show your team spirit. This works best when the spirit day is for a particular sport. If the spirit day coincides with more than one sports season, such as when football and basketball seasons overlap, put both sports balls onto the shirt.
The easiest way to draw a sports ball in Glitter Glue is by looking at a picture of it. After looking at a football, basketball, baseball, volleyball or soccer ball, draw an outline of the design on your shirt in pencil.
Once the design is to your liking, go over the outline in one of your team's colors, and fill in the details with another of your team's colors. Add in the name of your team by writing it above or below the sports ball design.
Jersey Style
You can make your spirit day Glitter Glue shirt look like a jersey in less than an hour. Pick a number for your jersey T-shirt, and then draw it in pencil on the front of the shirt. Make sure the number is at least 7 inches tall. Repeat this same process for the back of the shirt.
Go over your pencil outlines in Glitter Glue that matches your team's colors. If you'd like, you can add your name to the back of the shirt, just above the number. For contrast, you can outline the numbers in one color, and then fill them in with another of your team's colors.
Spirit Phrase Shirts
One of the easiest types of Glitter Glue sports shirts to make is a spirit phrase shirt. Simply choose between three and six of your favorite sayings, such as "Go Team" and "We're No. 1," and write them on the front and back of your shirt in Glitter Glue.
You can add your name to the shirt if you'd like. You can also draw spirit symbols on your shirt such as stars, paw prints and megaphones.
