Truck Graphics Ideas

Truck Graphics Ideas

Whether you drive a two-passenger truck or a long-haul tractor trailer, opportunities exist to personalize your vehicle. For those who drive the vehicle for an employer or simply don't want to commit to an everlasting paint job, adding graphics to your truck is as simple as choosing pre-created magnets and vinyl stickers or creating your own. With a little brainstorming and creativity, you can advertise your business, support a team or cause or just exhibit a little bit of flair while enjoying the ride.

Company Logo

If you run your truck for a personal business such as landscaping, mobile pet grooming, flower delivery or even child care, there are a few good reasons to emblazon your vehicle with your company logo, phone number, email address, website and other information. First, you're a high-speed billboard for your organization. Whether you're sitting in traffic or parked at the grocery store, you never know when someone may be looking for your services and can jot down your contact data. Second, some people who detail their vehicles for work purposes (and use them in daily activities) may be able to write off the cost of the truck, gas mileage and possibly even maintenance - a tax professional can advise. Finally, if you've worked hard to create a cool, eye-catching company logo or graphic, why not have a sign company print up a few vinyl replicas and place them on the truck? They'll serve as decoration and really make the truck stand out.

Team FANatic

Show that you're a super fan of a sports team by outfitting your truck with the team's logos. You can have giant vinyl stickers created for the wide space of the hood and even have something custom-sized for the truck's bed. Smaller graphics can be created for the doors and even hubcaps. Yankees fan? Find replicas of the old bat and baseball logo or use the new NYY design plus graphics of baseballs, bats and even mascots. Not so big on sports? The same companies that create truck team stickers also can do racing/hot rod images, retro themes like flowers and smiley faces or go with something neutral such as polka dots. Decals also can be created to show your love of musical groups, television shows and famous actors.

Charities

Much like the idea of emblazoning your truck with graphics that promote your business, another idea is to show your support for a charity organization or special cause. Although colored magnetic ribbon graphics have become popular and are often seen in a rainbow of hues on the back of vehicles, other ideas include having custom vinyl cut lettering to spell out the name of a charity's website. Another option is to enroll your truck in participation with one of the many missing children organizations (some are local to the town and some are national, which may be an option for over-the-road truck drivers). The organizations print up magnetic graphics with a photo, details and contact information about missing children, which are then placed on truck sides. These driveable billboards can call attention to an important situation. You also can have your own graphics printed up to support a charity close to your heart, such as a large graphic of a drop of blood and the words, "Ask me about blood donation."
