Use Chalkboard Paint

You can use chalkboard paint to promote creativity, jot notes or create chalk masterpieces. You can apply it to walls, floors, furniture and even framed it into a chalkboard. Chalkboard paint is available in the traditional black or green. also make your own colorful creation by tinting the paint with any color.


Instructions


1. Purchase traditional green or black chalkboard paint, or make your own colorful creation by mixing all ingredients well.


2. Apply chalkboard paint with a regular paint brush.


3. Allow the coat to dry completely.


4. Gently sand the paint with a 400-grit or higher grit sandpaper.


5. Wipe away any dust, as this will smooth your painted surface.


6. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 until you are satisfied with the final look.


7. Condition your chalkboard surface. Rub over the entire chalkboard surface with chalk. Using a felt cloth, wipe off the chalk you just applied. Then use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the chalkboard clean.


8. Your chalkboard paint is ready for a masterpiece.
